History

Based in the Robin Hood Gardens estate in Poplar, the estate itself has been a production line for many great players that have gone on to represent top teams. Going through the years has seen Azad Hussain, Didar Ahmed, Motiur Rahman and Abdul Kalam make their mark in the mid 90s and go on to play for Beaumont and Osmani. Then came the golden generation of Aktar Hussain, Dinul Hussain, Abidor Rahman & Co. With stints at London Tigers and Beaumont, they went on to create the first Robin Hood FC.

Future

As Robin Hood Gardens slowly comes to its end and redevelopment takes the estate into a new era, this team draws the players together and takes them into that step into the future. With a mixture of resident players and local friends, as well as returning old faces, this diverse team looks to give any team a run for their money.

Management

Team is run by brother Hasnath, coached by Imrul Hussain, as Aktar, Dinul, Junayel and Mudabbir work behind the scenes to make sure the under 12s, under 16s and the open age teams continue to take part in all competitions.
